Operator details — complete before taking payment

UK law requires a trader to publish its identity and a geographic address before selling to consumers. Replace every [BRACKETED] field on this page with real details. Until then, keep purchasesEnabled set to false in site-config.js.

1. Who we are

Fan2Fan Coverage ("we", "us") is operated by Fan2Fan, a sole trader / limited company registered in England and Wales under company number [NUMBER].

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Unofficial product statement

Fan2Fan Coverage is an independent, unofficial fan-made game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL member club, the NFL Players Association, or any current or former player. No official logos, marks or club badges are used. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Player names appear as factual references within a game of skill. Ratings, simulations and season outcomes are our own entertainment mechanics — they are not official statistics, predictions, or betting advice, and must not be relied on as such. If you own rights in material you believe is used here and want it removed, email us and we will act promptly.

3. Accounts and age

Some features need a Fan2Fan account. You must be 13 or over to create one. If you are under 18 you may only make purchases with the permission of a parent, guardian or whoever owns the payment method. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Your username, avatar and team name are visible to other people in any multiplayer room you join, so do not use personal information in them.

4. Acceptable use

5. FanCoins

FanCoins are a virtual in-game credit. They are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use a feature of the game — not money, not e-money, and not property.

Because nothing won can be exchanged for money or money's worth, these features are not gambling under the Gambling Act 2005 and no licence is required.

6. Packs and published odds

Some packs contain randomised rewards. We publish the chances before you spend, and every pack shows what it can contain on the pack itself. Packs are bought with FanCoins, never directly with money.

Power-up packs

Each item is drawn at these base rates. Where a pack's pool contains nothing at the tier rolled, the draw steps down to the next tier, so the effective rates per pack are as shown.

Player packs

Each player is drawn with equal probability from every player inside the pack's rating band. The final player in the pack is drawn from the guaranteed band instead.

Costs are in FanCoins. Odds are fixed and identical for every player; nothing changes them based on who you are, what you have spent, or how long you have played.

7. Buying FanCoins

When purchases are enabled, prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout and include any VAT that applies. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — we never see or store your full card details. Your contract with us is formed when your payment is confirmed and the FanCoins appear in your account, which is normally immediate.

You must be the account holder and either own the payment method or have the permission of the person who does. We may refuse or cancel an order where payment fails, fraud is suspected, or a price has been listed in obvious error.

8. Cancelling and refunds

Your 14-day right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. FanCoins are supplied immediately, so at checkout you are asked to agree that supply begins straight away and to acknowledge that you therefore lose the right to cancel once they are delivered. If you have not yet been supplied, email us and we will cancel and refund in full.

If something is wrong. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not — for example FanCoins are charged but never delivered, or a purchased feature does not work — you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Email us with your account username and the date of purchase and we will put it right.

Discretionary refunds. We do not otherwise refund FanCoins that have been spent, or purchases made by someone with access to your account. If a child has made a purchase without permission, contact us — we will look at it sympathetically.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us accepting the claim.

9. Privacy notice

The data controller is Fan2Fan, contactable at hello@fan2fan.online.

What we collect and why

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions that produce legal effects.

Who processes it

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and game data are kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of you closing it. Purchase records are kept for six years, as tax law requires. Aggregated usage data holds no identifiers and is kept indefinitely.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

10. Cookies and browser storage

We use browser storage to remember your preferences, daily attempts, streaks and unsaved game state, and cookies set by Firebase to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary for the site to work and are not used for advertising or tracking.

If advertising or analytics that require consent are switched on in future, you will be asked first and can decline without losing access to the games.

11. Complaints, changes and governing law

If something is wrong, email hello@fan2fan.online. We aim to reply within five working days. If we cannot resolve it, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider or the Online Dispute Resolution platform.

We may change these terms — for example when features change or the law does. Material changes will be notified on this page with a new "last updated" date, and will not apply retrospectively to a purchase you have already made.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
